Bequests
To: Anna Hill (Wife)
I give to my wife Anna Hill all my freehold property, and all my shares in such property, for her natural life. After her death I give this property and shares to my Son Freeman Hill and the legitimate heirs of his body, but if he should die before he reaches the age of twenty one and twenty years without any such legitimate issue, then I give this property and shares to my nephew Kendrick Hill for ever, provided that if Kendrick Hill should acquire this property through the terms of this will, then he shall within two months of such acquisition pay to Elizabeth Hill, the daughter of my late nephew Captain John Hill, one hundred pounds if she shall then be alive. If Elizabeth Hill should die before reaching the age of twenty one or before Kendrick Hill becomes entitled to this property, then the one hundred pounds legacy is void.
