To my wife one quarter of my property at Cookham for her life; one quarter of all my property, farm and lands in the parishes of Hurley, Lawrence, Waltham, Shottesbrooke and White Waltham, late in the tenure of Joseph Church now John Horwood for her life; one quarter of my two properties in Henley town and one quarter of the property in Watlington, for her life and after her death these one quarter parts to my children William, John and Elizabeth to be shared equally. The other three quarters of the above properties to be divided between my three children William, John and Elizabeth Clinton to be shared equally as tenants in common. The property in Cookham to be mortgaged by my Trustees should there be insufficient money available to pay my debts after the sale of my lease and farm at Henley.

| 0003: | Yeoman being weak in body But of a sound disposing mind |
| 0004: | and memory Thanks be given to Almighty God for the same |
| 0005: | but considering the uncertainty of this life and the certainty of |
| 0006: | death Do make publish and declare this to be my last Will and |
| 0007: | Testament in manner following (that is to say) First and |
| 0008: | principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty |
| 0009: | God my body to the earth to be decently buried at Cookham |
| 0010: | near my said father in a handsome and decent manner at |
| 0011: | the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named And as for |
