To our beloved in Christ The Reverend William Stockwood John Roade and James Neale clerks residing in the County
of Oxford jointly and severally Greeting Whereas we rightly and duly proceeding in a certain cause or business of Granting
Letters of Administration of all and Singular the goods Etc. of Elizabeth Smith late of Henley upon Thames in the County
aforesaid Widow Deceased To W[illia]m Whebble Samuel Jemmett Principal Creditors of the said Deceased Have Decreed
our Commission to You and Each of You the Parties aforesaid to administer this Oath underwritten to the said William
Webble and Samuel Jemmett so requiring We therefore do hereby impower You jointly and Severally that
You do or one of You Administer the Oath underwritten to the said William Webble and Samuel Jemmett requiring
Nevertheless when the said Oath is Administred you do transmit to Us your Proceeding hereupon Signed
with one of your Proper Hands Writing on or before the Last day of June ensuing the date hereof
otherwise We pronounce this Commission to be of no Effect Dated at Oxford Under the Seal of our

You swear that Elizabeth Smith Departed this Life without having made Any Last Will or Testament or otherwise
