I give to my son Richard Jennings, of the Parish of St Andrews, Holborn, Middlesex, Carpenter, the property in which I now live on the waste ground on the North Side of the Hill in Henley upon Thames, the property to the west of it occupied by John Jemmatt and the property occupied by Widow White on the east of it and the remaining years of the lease granted by the Warden Bridgmen Burgesses and Commonalty of the Town of Henley and from Sir William Whitelock of Phyllis Court.

0003: One thousand Seven hundred I Nicholas Jennings of Henly upon
0004: Thames in the County of Oxon Bargeman being in perfect health
0005: of Body and of perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God
0006: therefore but calling unto mind the mortality of my Body and
0007: knowing that it is appointed for all Men once to dye Do make and
0008: ordain this my last Will and Testament in manner and form
0009: following That is to Say First and principally I give my Soul into
0010: the hands of God who gave it me And for my Body I recomend
0011: to the Earth to be buried in Christian and decent manner in the
0012: Parish Church Yard of Henley upon Thames or elsewhere according
0013: to the discretion of my Executor nothing doubting but at the generall
0014: Resurrection I shall receive the same again by the mighty
0015: power of God And as touching such worldly Estate wherewith
0016: it hath pleased God to bless me in this Life I give devise bequeath
0017: and dispose the same in manner and form following First I give
