My two properties on the Hill in Henley Upon Thames, one where I dwell adjoining the property of James Hearne to the west side the other in the possession of Henry Staniford and adjoining on the east side the propertyof Soloman Harris for life. On the death of of my wife Tabitha I give to my son William whichever property he pleases and to my son George whichever William refuses. If either son dies without heir then I give both properties to the surviving son. If both die without heir then I give all to my surviving daughters to be divided equally between them.

0001: In the name of God amen I William Martin the Elder of Henley upon Thames in
0002: the County of Oxon Sayer being of Sound mind and Understanding Doe make Publish and
0003: Declare this my last Will and Testament in manner and Form following and first and
0004: Principally I commend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave itt trusting
0005: though the merritts and Mediation of my Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ to have remission
0006: of all my Sins and to be made partaker of everlasting life and my Body I commit to the
0007: Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executrix herein after named and as for
0008: my wordly Estate which the Lord out of his mercy hath bestowed upon me I give and dispose
0009: thereof in manner following Imprimis I give devise and bequeath unto my deare wife Tabitha
0010: all that my Messuag land or Tenement wherein I now dwell Scituate Standinding and being
0011: upon the Hill in Henley upon Thames Aforesaid and Adjoyning to the Messuage or Tenement
0012: of James Hearne to the west side therof and the Messuage or Tenement of me the said William
0013: Martin and now in the possession of Henry Staniford on the Est side therof To have and to hold
0014: the Same unto my Said for and during the natural life of my said wife and from and _ _ _

0026: Martin happen to die without Heires Lawfully begotten of their bodies then my two Aforesaid

0028: daughters as shall be then living to be Equally divided between them share and share alike
0029: And Lastly I Nominate constitute and appoint my said Wife Tabitha the only and sole
