I give to my executors £1200 Stock in 4% Bank Annuities upon trust to pay and the income from £700 of it to my wife Mary Coxhead for her natural life. After her death, of this £700, £100 is to be paid to my son Thomas Coxhead, £100 to my daughter Mary Stevens, wife of Joseph Stevens, and £100 each to my four grandchildren, children of my son in law Joseph Stevens, namely Henry Stevens, Thomas Coxhead Stevens, Joseph Stevens and Frances Stevens when they each reach the age of twenty one. Until these grandchildren reach the age of twenty one, the income from their share shall be applied for their maintenance and education; if any ofthese children die before they reach the age of twenty one, their share is to be divided amongst the survivors.

The income from £300 of 4% Bank Annuities is to be paid to my daughter Frances Nicholls immediately after my death, and that from another £100 of such annuities after the death of my wife, for her sole use and not subject to the control of her husband. After the death of Frances Nicholls, the £300 of stock (and, if my wife is then dead, the £100 of stock) is to be divided amongst the surviving children of Frances Nicholls in equal shares when they reach the age of twenty one, and before this age, the income is to be used for their maintenance and education. If Frances Nicholls dies without surviving children, this sum and income is to be used for the benefit of the children of my daughter Mary Stevens. The income from a further £200 of the Bank Annuities is to be used for the education and maintenance of Ann Nicholls and Harriet Nicholls, daughters of Frances Nicholls, until they reach the age of twenty one years when the stock is transferred to them in equal shares, or to the survivor; if both of these daughters are dead, then the sum is to be divided equally amongst the surviving children of my daughter Mary Stevens.
