To: Mary Chamberlen (Wife)

My trustees William Chamberlen, Daniel and James Peasnall, my personal estate and to invest any money at the time of my death paying the interest to my wife, Mary, for her life.  After her death the money to be divided equally amongst my children being paid to them at the age of 21.  My wife to have the use of my household goods and furniture during her life; and after her death all my personal estate to be divided equally between my children.

0001: In the Name of God Amen I John Chamberlen of Henly
0002: upon Thames in the County of Oxford Schoolmaster revokeing all
0003: former Wills and Codicills of Wills by me heretofore Made Do Make
0004: and Ordain this to be my Last Will and Testament In Manner and
0005: form following (that is to say) First I Give and bequeath unto my
0006: Brother William Chamberlen and unto my Brothers in Law Daniel
0007: and James Peasnall All and Every My Goods and Chattles Monies debts and all other
0008: my personall Estate whatsoever together with the Bonds and
0009: Other Securities after my Just Debts and funerall Expences are
0010: fully paid and Discharged In trust nevertheless That they the said
0011: William Chamberlen and Daniel & James [↑Peasnall] and the Survivor of them and
0012: the Executors and Administrators of such Survivor do and shall
0013: Immediately after my Decease place out at Interest on the best security
0014: they can gett all and Every such sum and sums of Money that I shall
0015: have in my possession or that shall be Due and Owing to me at my
0016: Decease and the Interest thereof shall from time to time pay unto
0017: my Loving wife Mary for and During her Naturall life And from and
0018: after her Decease That then the said severall Sum and Sums of Money
0019: that shall be so putt out at Interest as abovesaid I hereby order and
0020: Direct shall by the said trustees or the Survivor of them or the Executors
0021: or Administrators of such Survivor be Equally paid and Divided to
0022: and amongst all and Every My Child or Children as shall be living at
0023: my said Wifes Decease share and share alike The same to be paid
0024: to them respectively when they shall attain their respective ages
0025: of Twenty one Years And also upon this further Trust that my Said
0026: trustees do and shall permitt and suffer my said wife to have and
0027: use the severall household Goods and household furniture and all
