0001: In the name of God Amen I Margarett Avery of henley upon Thames in the
0002: County of Oxon widdow being of sound & disposing mind memory & understanding
0003: but calling to mind the uncertainty of this life and that all flesh must Submitt unto Death
0004: when itt shall please Almighty God to call Doe for the avoiding all disputes that
0005: may happen to arrise after my decease concerning my Estate make publish &
0006: declare this my last will & Testament in manner & forme following And first and
0007: principally I comend my Soul into the hands of Almighty God who gave itt me
0008: trusting through the merritts & mediation of my Lord & Saviour Jesus Christ
0009: to have Remission of all my Sins & to be made pertaker of everlasting life And
0010: my body I comitt to the Earth to be decently buryed att the discretion of my
0011: Executrix herein after named And as concerning my worldly Estate which the Lord
0012: out of his Infinite goodnesse & mercy hath bestowed upon me I give & dispose
0013: thereof as followeth Impri[mi]s I give & devise unto Anne Grove spinster now living
0014: with me All those two Messuages Cottages or Tenem[en]ts with the gardens & all other
0015: the appurten[an]cies to the same belonging scituate standing & being att Northfeld End in
0016: the parish of henley upon Thames aforesaid and now in the severall possessions
0017: of me the said Margarett Avery and John Pusey ........ and alsoe all other my
