0002: I Edward Backhus of Henley upon Thames in
0003: the County of Oxford Hoopshaver being of sound Mind
0004: Memory and understanding considering the uncertainty
0005: of this Transitory Life and being desirous to settle my
0006: affairs do therefore make publish and declare this
0007: my last Will and Testament in manner and form
0008: following First and principally I recommend my Soul
0009: into the hands of Almighty God who gave it hoping
0010: through the Merits and Intercession of my Lord and
0011: Saviour Jesus Christ to have remission of my Sins and
0012: to be made partaker of Eternal Life my Body I
0013: committ to the Earth from whence it came to be
0014: decently Buried in the Church yard of the Parish of

0016: and as for such wordly Estate and Goods as God in
