To my wife Frances Clements, the interest or dividends from the £700 stock in 3% consolidated funds to be paid to her half yearly for life; the interest from the £150 currently held by Strickland Freeman of Fawley Court, to be invested and the interest to be paid to her at the rate of £7.10s per annum. After her death, these sums to be divided equally between my son James Clements and daughter Ann Lakeman (but deducting £50 from my daughter's share as she received £50 on her marriage to James Lakeman).

In the Register there is a margin note which states on the 15th January 1831, Administration with the will annexed was granted to John Baring the Administrator of the will of James Clements (the appointed executor) deceased for the use and benefit of Harriett Clements Widow, William Giffing, Timothy Hutton and William Mandeville, the Executors of the said James Clements now residing in New York.
