Having given during my lifetime to my sons John and James at least one hundred pounds each which is at least their full share of one third of my personal Estate dividable with my son Robert and daughter Jane, and to prevent any dispute in my family after my death, I give to my sons John and James fifty pounds each to be paid to them within one month of my death provided they agree to make no further claim on my estate. If either of them refuses to agree to this, then his fifty pounds legacy shall go to my executrix [wife Anne Eaglesfield]

0001: In the Name of God Amen
0002: I John Eaglesfield of Henly upon Thames in the County of
0003: Oxon Citizen and Baker of London (having regard to the ancient
0004: and Laudable Custom of the said City Do make and ordain this my
0005: last Will and Testament in manner and form following (vizt) I having
0006: in my life tyme given and advanced to my sons John and James
0007: at least one hundred pounds a peice which is their full share or
0008: more of one third part of my personal Estate Dividable with my
0009: Son Robert and Daughter Jane notwithstanding which to prevent
0010: any dispute in my Family after my decease I do give and bequeath
0011: unto my said Sons John and James Fifty pounds a peice to be paid
0012: them respectively within one month next after my decease provided
0013: they severally upon the payment thereof give to my Executrix herein
0014: after named a full and Legal discharge for the said Fifty pounds a
0015: peice and also full[↑y] and absolutely acquit release and for ever discharge
0016: my said Executrix from all further and other Clayms and demands
0017: out of my said Estate or any part thereof which they or either of them
0018: shall or may at any time hereafter claym or Demand and my will
0019: is That if in case my said Sons John and James shall refuse to give
0020: such receipt and discharge as aforesaid under their respective hands
0021: and Seals That then the said Fifty pounds Lagacy of him so refuseing
0022: Shall goe and be to the use of my said Executrix and Lastly all the
0023: rest and residue of my Estate wheresoever and whatsoever I give
0024: devise and bequeath unto my loving wife Anne Eaglesfield whom I
0025: make and ordain the full and sole Executrix of this my last Will and
0026: Testament revoking all former Wills by me made I doe publish and
0027: declare this to be my last Will and Testament and I do make and
0028: appoint my said loving Wife Anne Eaglesfield Guardian of the persons
